David Roberts is the Managing Director of Cayman Management joining in the firm in 1982 and has the overall responsibility for the diverse range of services provided by Cayman Management and its affiliated companies. He specializes in the establishment and operation of a variety of corporate structures and holds numerous executive and non-executive directorships, including hedge funds, insurance and reinsurance companies, investment companies, international holding company structures, along with general operating and asset holding companies.

David has an extensive background in business administration, investment and international corporate matters. He took up residency in the Cayman Islands in 1982, prior to which he gained international experience to a senior level with an international publicly quoted company based in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in the United Kingdom and is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner. David is a long standing Director of Cayman Finance Ltd., is a founding member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association and is currently sitting on a number of other financial sector representative boards and committees.

JS de Jager joined Cayman Management in 2007 and is directly responsible for the oversight and management of an extensive portfolio of captive insurance companies, investment companies, financial management companies as well as general commercial activities. He currently holds a range of Directorships, including funds and investment management companies.

JS is a South African citizen and holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of the Free State, South Africa. He has a broad professional and commercial accounting background, having worked as an accounting professional in both general practice and industry in South Africa from 2002 to 2007 and in the Cayman Islands with Cayman Management since 2007. JS is directly responsible for the management of an extensive portfolio of clients including investment companies, financial management companies, captive insurance/reinsurance companies and general commercial activities and he is currently holding a number of Independent Directorships of funds, financial technology holding and service companies as well as investment management companies. He is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, the South African Institute of Professional Accountants, the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants and the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association of Cayman, until recently sitting also as an Executive Committee member of the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman, the representative body for the Cayman Islands captive insurance industry. His outside interests include tennis and rugby, being a past member of the Cayman Islands National Rugby team, and he is actively involved in a number of local charitable organizations.

Natasha Bunting joined Cayman Management in 2008. She specialises in providing domiciliary services for offshore companies and registration services for ships and yachts. Enquiries from prospective clients and professionals requiring corporate management and vessel representative services in the Cayman Islands will be directed to Natasha.

Prior to joining Cayman Management Natasha spent several years as a corporate administrative assistant for one of the largest Cayman Islands Law Firms where she gained extensive experience in the formation, management, administration of corporations and client accounting. She holds a B.A. (Hons) from York University in Canada and an LLB (Hons) from Exeter University, England.

Zelpha Bunting joined Cayman Management in 1982. As Senior Accounts Administrator she attends to the day-to-day banking for corporate clients and Cayman Management , as well as updating the company’s accounts and providing general bookkeeping services. Zelpha is responsible for Registrar filings for corporate clients and on behalf of Cayman Management . She provides specialist services for various corporate clients liaising with banks, immigration department and various other government agencies.

Before joining Cayman Management Zelpha worked as a manager in a local business.

Jackie Cross has been with Cayman Management since 2003. She is Executive Personal Assistant to the Directors and provides support services in many of the Company’s activities. She undertakes new company registrations, registry filings and conducts general liaison with the Registrar of Companies. She also carries out back office support work on mutual funds.

Before joining Cayman Management Jackie worked as a Customs Officer and then a Corporate Administrator with a local Bank.

Amber Tatum, joined Cayman Management in May of 2016 as the Compliance and Corporate Governance Officer.

Amber originates from Cayman Brac and is a 1999 B.Sc. graduate of the University of Tampa. She also holds a Diploma in Fund Administration from CLT International and the University of Manchester Business School. Her professional background is in retail banking and mutual fund administration where she performed Supervisory and Manager roles. This progressed through to a Chief Analyst position in the Investments and Securities Division of the local financial services regulator, The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (“CIMA”). After moving on from CIMA, she worked at a small audit firm as well as a mutual fund administration office before joining Cayman Management Ltd.

Cliodhna Phelan joined Cayman Management in March 2017 and is responsible for managing the client relationships for a number of insurance clients in addition to the accounting and financial reporting of various entities and international business structures.

Cliodhna is a qualified accountant (FCCA) and an associate member (ACIS) of ICSA, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in the United Kingdom. She is a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants. Cliodhna moved to Cayman in 2015 where she joined the private wealth team at one of the islands trust and corporate service providers. Prior to moving to Cayman Cliodhna spent 8 years in Guernsey in the Channel Islands where she gained a range of experience across the Private Equity, Trust and Company and Fund Administration sectors.

Ilona Devereaux joined Cayman Management in 2017 and is primarily responsible for the establishment, licensing, management and administration of a portfolio of Companies and Mutual Funds registered with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority in the Cayman Islands.

Ilona is a South African citizen and has over fifteen years’ experience as a Chartered Secretary working with the Boards and Committee of publicly listed entities in the financial services and mining sectors in South Africa before moving to the Cayman Islands to work for an international Fund and Trust Company in 2015. Ilona is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in the United Kingdom (ICSA), is currently completing the Chartered Secretary Qualifying Scheme (CSQS) with ICSA and has completed the ICSA Post Graduate Programme in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance with the University of South Africa.

Jessica Redhead

    Jessica joined Cayman Management in 2018 and is responsible for managing the client relationships for a portfolio of captive insurance clients in addition to the management, accounting and financial reporting of various investment companies.

    Jessica is a qualified accountant (ACA) and holds a BA Hons in Business Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle in England. Jessica a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants. Prior to joining Cayman Management Jessica gained over seven years of professional experience with a ‘big four’ accounting firm, of which the last five were in the financial services industry in Cayman.
